Faithful Stewards 2024 – CANCELED

We are especially grateful that you have been praying for Pastor Tom, as he endured a significant heart event last week. We are thankful for your prayers, love, and support (Tom and his family are as well!). While Tom is making remarkable progress in his recovery, it is best to cancel this year’s Faithful Stewards conference, scheduled later this month.

In God’s providence, we won’t be able to fellowship together this summer, but we look forward to June 27–28, 2025, where we’ll consider Loving Christ by Praying for His Sheep.

A conference and book series

to encourage pastors and

leaders of local churches

as they pursue

faithful, biblical ministry.

Loving Christ by Leading His Sheep

Edited by Tom Pennington

Loving Christ by Leading His Sheep identifies and explains from Scripture three key principles to be an effective leader in our Lord’s church. To be a biblical leader—one that honors Christ, the Head of the church—you must embrace and implement these principles in your ministry and the local church you serve.

Contributors: Tom Pennington, Jonathan Anderson, and Dusty Burris

Faithful Stewards Book Series

The Faithful Stewards series exists to encourage pastors and leaders of local churches as they pursue faithful, biblical ministry. book series

In 1 Corinthians 4, the apostle Paul reminds us that God will not measure our ministries by their results—whether outward success or failure. We contribute nothing to the spiritual results of our efforts. Only God can give life to dead hearts through the gospel—regeneration (Jas. 1:18). And only His Spirit can transform the hearts of His people through His Word—sanctification (John 17:17; 2 Cor. 3:18). All that God requires of us is to be faithful stewards.

Faithful Stewards is presented by The Word Unleashed, a ministry of Countryside Bible Church.
